Vertiflex

Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is a narrowing of the spinal canal in the lower part of your back. This narrowing can cause pressure on your spinal nerves creating pain. Pain is commonly felt as low back pain that is worse with standing and walking and tends to be relieved, or significantly improved, with sitting or lying.

Vertiflex is a minimally invasive treatment that can provide effective long-term relief for pain associated with LSS.

The procedure is performed by placing a small spacer device inside the spine without removal of bone or tissue. Once inserted, the spacer’s arms open around the spinous process (the bones you can feel in your back) to help make space for the affected nerves. This helps keep pressure off the nerves that cause back and leg pain.
